Crows at Play

Sitting outside on the patio terrace at Mustard Seed with my wife, her sister and newborn daughter, I took notice of crows socializing just as we were. Fascinating creatures.

This frame begins my own personal "APAD", otherwise know commonly amongst many photographers as, A Photo A Day. It's a means of staying visually fresh. To follow the sequence as it progresses, navigate to the 'visual journals' link.  As always, thanks for looking.

LeBron Comes Home

Have you had enough LeBron? Just in case you hadn't, here's my offering from last night's festivities surrounding his visit to Lock 3 Park, in Akron, Ohio — his home town. Much time was spent by fans waiting. And, wait they did, for some up to 6 hours or more. Never have I experienced so much self admiration with smart phones. Everywhere I turned, a selfie, or group selfie was being captured. So strange, this phenomenon. Eventually, after all the waiting, the selfies, horseplay, and a multitude of introductory speeches, LeBron emerged. His speech, it seems left a lot of people feeling a little flat. Lasting only about five minutes, it was easily summed up with, "wow," "thank you," and "I love you all!" Profound for a hometown appearance. Perhaps he was worn out from Cleveland's parade? Hard to say. One thing's for sure, and it's that Northeast Ohio won't tire of him easily.

Abstracts & ColorScapes - Akron Northwest

Exploring composition, light, and color tends to keep my eyes fresh. I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I do in making the frames. Thanks for looking!

Took a little drive around Akron after work today to enjoy the light.
